The Assessment of Compared Qualities — Occupational Performance (ACQ-OP) tool kit includes an ACQ-OP OTAP software license and ACQ-OP rater calibration.
The ACQ-OP is an occupation-focused partner tool to the AMPS used to evaluate the extent of discrepancy between a person’s reported quality of ADL task performance and that observed by the occupational therapist.
ACQ-OP self-study and rater calibration are required to use the ACQ-OP. ACQ-OP rater calibration involves testing 10 people (at least two people must have no diagnosis or disability) using the AMPS and the ACQ-OP, and submitting the evaluation data to the Center for Innovative OT Solutions for analysis. More information about the ACQ-OP and self-study resources, including a free online training course, are available here.
A current AMPS OTAP license is required to purchase the ACQ-OP toolkit. Calibrated AMPS raters with an out-of-date AMPS license may be able to upgrade or renew their AMPS licenses. Occupational therapists who do not have a current AMPS OTAP license can calibrate for both the AMPS and the ACQ-OP by taking an AMPS training course.
